Marvellous Amateur Dramatics is a new society based in Charmouth, West Dorset which has been started up by team of friends who are passionate about giving people from the local and surrounding areas a chance to take part in all aspects of musical theatre – not just on stage. Through our combined experience and knowledge we aim to perform shows at different theatres in the area once a year and we invite all walks of life to take part.

Our debut show 'Summer Holiday' was performed at the Axminster Guildhall in Devon during February 2010 and was an instant hit with audiences. We recevied excellent reviews from NODA and the local press and we are all extremely proud of our achievement and the feedback from audiences.

Now that our debut has finished, we are busily preparing for our next show and will also get this website completed. Meanwhile if you, your friends or family would like to get involved in any aspect of Amateur Dramatics and would like to be part of our next show or fancy getting involved with our committee please register your interest. Once registered you will be kept informed of news and developments and be invited to become an official member of the M.A.D. society. We have also created a facebook page called ‘It’s MAD’ so please visit this page too and join in with the discussions.
